Adults: when you eventually plan sex with a dating partner, how many dates and if so, how much effort goes into "the big night/big day" and afterward?

Lol I for one would say "if I've been dating this woman (in my case lol) for a handful of dates, spread over many weeks or months, yes I'd finally sleep with my woman / my girlfriend official, on say, - the 6th date (lol Arnold and the 6th Day film) 📽️ 🎥 or by the 9th date (lol again it's funny)

My then girlfriend and I were quite religious. Hence we literally waited until married to have sex.

We agreed, hold hands, kissing, hugging OK. But not beyond. Maybe that was the (late) 90s.

However, I think our waiting although was challenging, was worth it.

First of all, after married, we literally had sex like rabbits from the wedding day umtil even now (30 years after)

And we trusted each other in the matter of physical aspect of relationship.

Wait or not wait is your choice to make with her.

Fundamentally, it's not how many dates that counts. It's how much love you have for her and she for you that counts.

Get it right and I think sex will be the "by-product" of a loving relationship.

I met a female and she was in her sports gear, shorts skimpy t-shirt, I was dressed in my sports gear. It was instant attraction from me! We both were interested in each other, and we both wanted sex after working out. We both was alone together and we had opportunity!

I would have married her the next day! I still feel the same about her, but her interest wained, and I let her go.

The date happened when I was living at home, with plenty of time to chase the girls even though working full time.
I think how your date develops depends on your date and circumstances, sometimes like above we knew it was the right time. But hey I'm not experienced with the females a few relationships don't make a romeo!
