Are you surprised if you ever see a "great person" still single?

Someone who always has something nice to say, naturally is able to make everyone around her feel happy and at ease, humble and doesn't see life as having any ranks- treats the lowest of the low, as equally as her superiors. She is terrible at bragging and always does good deeds even when nobody sees. She is everyone's best friend and will goes such a great extent to help anyone who needs it, regardless of if it is a stranger or a classmate she met an hour ago. Buys gifts for the patients she cares for at nursing homes. Cooks and cleans for sick people who don't qualify for home health aides- she does all of this for free.

Would you be in shock if someone like this still was single by 30?

Probably still waiting for an idealized version of prince charming and going through life denying herself the experience of dating because she’s seen the heartbreak it’s caused others


And yes I do say this from personal experience.
I’ve met a few girls like that


And while I have dated in the past, I’m also pushing 30 while single and my standards only got higher and higher


there’s no one size answer for life
We all move at our own pace


But it’s also true that some people chose to move slower than they probably should


Because life is fleeting and tomorrow is not guaranteed

People are usually single for a reason, and often the reasons are not good.

Whenever I see a woman my age still single. No matter how kind she seems to be on the outside, I still wonder if there must be something wrong with her. So far in my experience there is something wrong with her. It just takes time to discover it.

Where I live, if you are a woman and you aren't married or divorce by your 40's then there is something odd with you.

Definitely not true

Some people are super picky.
Some people just didn't look in their youth
Some just didn't have good enough luck finding the right person
Some people spent their 20s in school and building their careers, they might not have enough free time to look for someone

You can't just rush to assumptions that everyone had time to date or Everyone has about the same standards.

I'm not backing down on my opinion because I have spent countless hours thinking about it, and even watching videos related to it. I didn't just jump to a conclusion.

Hours thinking about it means nothing. It just means you are obsessive.

Watching videos related to it only means you are only learning from other ignorant judgmental people.

I used to think like you. But now I learned its really not an only black or white issue. Where it can only be good or bad. There can be many factors that can play into why some people are still single

I have known some people who have married at 45 or 55. And remained happily married in very successful marriages for the rest of their lives. There is really no timeline to love.

That doesn't happen. If they're still single they're not great. You just haven't discovered why they're single yet.
