Have you ever seen somebody go through a sudden personality change, and what do you think caused those particular changes?

I've heard of girls who change personalities when they change boyfriends, I've heard of girls change personalities when they get close to their boyfriends, I've heard of people changing personalities when they begin doing drugs, I've heard of people change personalities when they begin a new religious regiment, and I've seen people change personalities when their financial situation changes, when new members are added to their families, or when the leader of their country changes, I've seen people go through personality changes after going on vacations or falling in love.

I've seen people who normally are very nice to others, suddenly becoming very cross with people. These are people who have just turned sick. Happened to a neighbor of mine years ago ~ very friendly to all. Suddenly yelling at people. Two weeks later she died. I've seen this with others as well --- nice people who become sick and then ultimately die.

So sad.

Ones personality is permanently hard coded in your brain. You cannot change it.

You can only change your outward attitude that people see. But if you do that for very long, you could grow to resent your partner and eventually revert back to the real you.

Yes, I’ve seen people change drastically after a terrible break up. I personally changed quiet a bit after I found out that I was being cheated on. Personally I noticed that the pandemic changed a lot of people, some went through a lot of loss and hardship during, some forgot how to socialize and developed social anxiety, etc.

Yes, I've seen it's and it was usually caused by alcohol.
