Well you can date immediately it depends on the person. Just be careful friends because sometimes people get themselves into a worse situation then the last because dark personalities can sucker you in knowing you’re coming out of a bad relationship. Sometimes getting into one worse then the last.

Other times someone can find someone genuinely great and caring. But use someone as a rebound as well as a prop to make a ex jealous just to be discarded later on. Don’t be that person.

If you aren’t over someone admit it to yourself and don’t drag someone else through that mud.

I would say for most people, 6 months to a year.

It takes time to truly heal from a breakup unless it wasn't very long.

If you were with that person for more than a year definitely 6 months to a year to heal from it.
