Is it bad to call someone out for texting too much and getting mad at me if I don’t respond quickly?

Communicate how you feel about it depending on the extreme of it just tell him to not text you so much unless it’s important. Tell him you’re busy and have a life especially if he’s texting you at times he knows you’re asleep or at work.

Also people expect someone to respond in five minutes when it’s not important. Yes call him out and express how you feel if he respects that amazing if he can’t then it may be time to cut him off. He’s not entitled to your time.

No, best to nip that in the bud early. Tell them what's comfortable and not comfortable for you. Expectations need to be set.

Some of her texts makes me uncomfortable as she will cry she has never been married and will ramble on throughout the day it just never comes to a close I was stuck texting with her for too long

Well some people are really good, comfortable and fast at texting so they tend to expect the same from the other person as well.
