Why would a guy want the gurl to choose the location for a 1st date?

Dating apps. I've had a few guys ask about meeting up, I say yes. Then a few guys have asked where we should meetup, why do they do this?

To me, I see this as bare minimum effort. If you want to meet a woman on a dating app I expect the man to plan the 1st date. A place and time. There just seems to be an over abundant of men who are under developed in terms of how to date and court a women. 😅

Another guy assumed I just wanted to hook up, and asked what time he should come over to my place. Whe. I gave no communication that I wanted that!

To a certain extent, it's helpful to have the woman's input so you can know that she'll enjoy the sort of place you take her to. I wonder if these guys have just been phrasing the question the wrong way? It's generally pretty bad form to ask a woman to pick a specific location for the first date.

What sort of cuisine she likes. If she's a casual or formal kind of gal. What she values in romantic expressions. You can tell all of that from how a woman responds to first date planning.

I generally ask women for a little bit of information to help plan the date, but set most decisions myself.

If he was genuinely intersted he would of asked more questions on what typt of place is best. Thank you.

Happy to help! As a woman, you have to make sure the men in your life show up the way you need them to. Effort in planning a first date is a good way to do that.

It sounds like hookup guy was a bit of a knucklehead. You might want to try to be a little more patient with men who are genuinely interested, but just a little clumsy.

Unfortunately, the sort of men who end up on the apps aren't usually the kind who know how to interact with women in person. The men who can do that more naturally are usually already taken! lol

Easy, because if YOU choose then you can pick a neutral territory that YOU are comfortable with. One that YOU feel safe, since you've never met him before and for all you know he can be a serial killer. I know dummies like you don't think about that. But most women are smarter than that.

Men have been told they're toxic and dangerous to women so they want to put a woman at ease by allowing HER to show an interest in the date by making an effort to choose a place she's comfortable in. It will also give HIM a chance to determine what kind of girl he's getting involved with. That way he can see whether or not to offer to pay for the date or expect 50/50.

Dating for women is way too easy these days. They've got options in abundance and men aren't up for being meal tickets any longer. It's now ok for women to ask men out too given they've got just as much resources as men to use in order to impress them with their effort in making it worthwhile.
