What is it a man (in his 30s) want in a woman?

Asking as I’m a girl in her 30s who is single. I’d love to meet someone but I can never meet what is a normal guy. He either lives with his parents or is just after a fling! Asking as I’m genuinely interested as it could me be in the wrong all the time.

Where I live, living with your parents into your 30s has actually become quite common for very practical reasons (finances, support parents, etc.), so that standard might need to be reevaluated.

As far as my own requirements for a woman: '

• I have to see her living with discipline and strong ethical framework. That takes knowing her for a little while, and usually means I'm dating friends of friends. Doesn't have to be religious (I'm a Christian) but that certainly wouldn't hurt.
• Good sense of style, artistic/creative sensibilities. I want a woman that people see us together and think that we refine and elevate each other.
• I'd like her to have a good sense of humor and be a good conversationalist. I am a very socially adept person and my ideal woman is as well.
• RESPECT for people she doesn't need to show respect to is critically important. If I get the impression that I'm dealing with a disrespectful person, she's gone. I see people like that as a liability, and I simply can't afford to keep someone like that around.
• On the flipside of the last point, I want a woman who understands that because she IS my representative to the public, it's OUR responsibility to honor each other in our words and actions. Saying it out loud comes across a little too black and white, but I think it's true: I am her's and she is mine. If other people are confused about that, I think that's a problem.

To give you an example from my own life. I recently went to a birthday party where a lady I'm quite serious about met up with a guy from her home country. Even though she was excitedly chatting with him. The entire time they were talking, she's beside me, she's leaning towards me, she's touching me. She was making it clear "I'm here with [ProbablyClueless]." It didn't need to be said, she just knew that presenting us as a team was honoring our connection.

TL;DR: I think the thing that a relationship-oriented man in his 30s is going to look for in a woman is a sense that she understands unity. A man and woman are teammates.

I'm not a guy but I just wanted to say try to join meetup groups like meetup. com in your area.
The best is when you aren't looking but yes there are still good men out there and you just have to be careful when dating. I know when dating ask questions like what are they looking for and their answer will let you know if they want a relationship plus if you say no to sex will they respect that and keep seeking you. You'll have your answer if you say no and they continue to want to see you. Some men only want sex and don't pursue you as much or you are left feeling confused. A guy who is truly interested in you will not leave you confuse and will answer any doubt you may have but as a woman we also need to set boundaries and suchc, best of luck
