No, I did not go to prom as in my country, this is not that popular and I am against all those ceremonies that are imported from the US.

Unfortunately, it is becoming more popular because there is money to make out of something like that. Once I graduated, I cut all the contacts and went about with my own life.

It is just like Halloween and the likes that have been imported from the States. If there is a penny or cent profit to make from something that has no real reason to be, then merchants will jump on the bandwagon. People are like sheep and they follow.

My junior year and my senior year I went with a date


Then year after my senior prom, I've read into one of my friends who was a very well liked popular girl and it happened to be the night of the prom. There is 2 of my other friends that she used to hang out with and all 3 of them did not have a date. I asked him if they wanted to go. They said yes.
So we went there and we had a great time.

I got to go to two proms. One the year before I graduated, with a friend. And then with my girlfriend the year I graduated.

The first one was fine. But the after-party was amazing. The second one sucked. It was just a shitty night that ended shitty.

Funny though. I do think of partying all night, with all the nerds who didn't usually party... all going hard. It was fun.

As for me I went to prom with my girlfriend at the time & two years later my sister’s friend asked me to go to her prom & I had a better time at her prom than mine.

The funny thing was that I didn’t even know her, my sister gave her my number & out of the kindness of my heart I said yes & had a lot of fun.

I graduated a few months early and my school and friends never informed me of the date so I missed it.. :/

No. I didn't have a date and going to prom alone as a guy is just factually fucking pathetic, so I stayed home. Definitely made me bitter about things and some of my piers. I was always the guy that was good enough to be a friend but not good enough for more.
