People who fell for their partners hard and fast, how did you know it was right and not rushed?

I'm seeing an incredible woman I really click with but I'm also aware I have attachment and abandonment issues, and I do want someone to hold onto for those reasons and given what I know about her I think it's exactly the same. The thing is it doesn't feel unhealthy either. It's happening very fast yes, but we really click in pretty much every way. In fact, there are some things and connections we have in common that are so obscure it's uncanny. Every time we ask each other a question we like the answer we get in reply.

Even her voice is beautiful, her natural speaking voice is basically ASMR. Her height lines up basically perfectly to tuck her head under my chin and we both agree it's happening fast but we both agree we don't care. I mean there were multiple cases of soldiers who got married in WW1 and WW2 after one date that ended up coming home and a lot of them actually had great marriages strangely enough.

We're not rushing even nearly that much we've both agreed sex is months down the road bare minimum, and we actually agree that it's because we want to be sure we've fallen in love first before that line is crossed but I can't tell if this is A deep connection, two lonely people clinging together to the first person who seems to get them or a mix of the two? I think it's a mix but even then, I can't tell to what ratio.

I've been crying since noon and it's 5 here now. We had planned to go on a date last Sunday but we had to cancel because she had to go to the hospital because she had food poisoning. Today I found out she was misdiagnosed and died last light. I feel like I'm in a simulation right now It the way this happened feel unnatural like some malevolent god decided I was too, happy and had to have my heart broken again. I don't know what to do I feel completely winded and In shock. All I feel is pain

There's a saying "if something is too good to be true, it probably is". Another saying "love is blind". Yet another "fools rush in", which I think you and her avoided.

I was once told fining love is like gambling. We win some, we lose some. And we can never be sure. I agree.

To share my experience, I talked to those who know my then girlfriend well. With views from these, particularly those older than us, I gained a more balanced view of our personalities.

And yes, don't pretent to be who we are not. If we can't live with a trait while dating, we can't after marriage.

Indeed sex is important but can cloud our feelings. I think your choice to wait is good. (my wife and I waited until marriage).

I'm also concerend though because I've been hurt a lot before but really want a strong connection at the same time and I feel like I'm getting that but one of the other things is both of us have PTSD so part of me is worried what if this is desperation kicking in? I'm sure that's part of it but what if it's to an unhealthy level? I'm concerned I don't want to mess this up but like I said we're both comfortable but at the same time comfortable isn't synonymous with good. A roller costar without a seat belt is "Comfortable" too.
