I can’t stop thinking about my guy friend. I don’t a relationship romantically but lately I’ve been thinking about him every damn day. I’ve rejected him so many times when he asked he out on a date. I told him I have no feelings for him but he said one day I’ll realize he’s the man for me and he’ll ware me down. He hated the guys I’m interested in or tells them I’m his girl and they leave me alone.
I went to the dance with him twice but just as FRIENDS. He ALWAYS asked me to prom or school dances so I would have to quickly ask another guy because I knew he was going to ask me. As a tall, heavy (260lbs, 5’11) girl, guys wouldn’t give me the time of day. They always liked my petite or slim or fit girls. My guy friend is a big boy too, also heavy and 6’1”. He was never into the hot or cute girls. Wasn’t into slim girls either. He always chased me. Ge admitted that he’s liked me since 8th grade. We’ve known each other since 4th grade and he would ALWAYS follow me around and I got irritated. My crush was so mean to me and insulted my weight. He was a joke. He dated me for a couple weeks but I broke up with him. He only likes me because I looked thin (I’m 176lbs now.)
My sister had to knock some sense into me a few months ago to realize that my guy friend was always the man for me since day one and just call him or see him. Open my eyes and she wasn’t going to let me let a guy like him go. My guy friend told me he always found someone and he doesn’t want it be turned down again. I’m very happy for him but I’m starting to feel…. jealous. I developed feelings before he got with her but I didn’t want to admit it. I keep fighting it. He’s been with his girl for two months.
I think I’m in love with my guy him.
He said I’m a lucky girl to have a guy that likes me even at my heaviest. My mom was always a slim fit woman. My dad is too. He’s 6’3.
