Today I dmed my crush (knew he was single) and while talking to told me he leaves with his gal (apparently they got back together) I congratulated him and asked if he has someone nice to set me up with and he answered "calm down (my name)" so I asked him: why should I? You can be in a relationship and I dont? And he hasn't replied. Why does he act like that?

Why would YOU act like that? Your response came of sounding like some bitter ex not a girl with a crush. FYI, no one’s restraining you from being in a relationship or dating. To me, him saying calm down just means to chill out, he’s not interested in playing matchmaker for you and his friends. Weird suggestion from you anyways - oh you, my crush only a second ago is not available so let me just ask for one of your friends so I can still be on your radar somehow. Like girl you’re weird for this whole exchange.
