What comes to mind when you see someone smoking a cigar?

Sheep-like behaviour/follows the crowd/gives into peer pressure

Wasteful with their money (literally uses it on something that kills them)

Potentially thinks they look cool doing it (they don't)

Relies on an unhealthy external source to handle stress (weak minded)

I know that everyone has their thing in life. I'm no saint myself either, but I don't associate any positive traits to someone who smokes

Part of my mind would think
“Pretentious prick”


Another part would think back to the cigars I’ve shared with good friends of mine over the years (my best friend in particular)

So asside from health issues that come with any kind of smoking, there are two categories for smokers.
The first one is the eew it stinks category like ciggaretes and vapes.
The second one is the actual nice smell from ciggars and pipes.
I still dont like to do it and if its too smokey I dont like it on others either, but the smell isn't that much of a problem for me.

To directly answer your question as my previous part was only indirectly answering it, after health issues from smoking the smell is the second thing that comes to mind.

I used to think that too but it’s surprisingly inexpensive (unless you go for the highest quality brands, which most people don’t)
