Do you and your best friend have different taste in people or the same?

My bestie and I are like twins but oddly enough have different taste in men. There was only one guy in college that we both had a crush on but I didn't like him as much as she did and would have happily let her have him.

we both like funny, interesting and smart girls... but I don't really think we have the same "taste" in people

perhaps because I get to know them so well that I don't really see how "they're the same" so I definitely get to know them well enough to see all of their individuality and not really perceive them all as "the same type" lol

Wouldn't that be problematic? I'm glad my friend that I regularly have coffee with has different tastes than I do. Means I meet people through him I would never choose on my own, and often they are interesting and entertaining.

And he notices things and discusses ideas I'd not settle on either. So we have lively discussions.

I like the variety that friends bring to you and I wouldn't like someone too much like myself. Vive la Difference!

GINORMOUS-LY different lol. She's into men, I'm into women. Plus, while I understand, intellectually, what she found in the men she was with, I can't relate at all. One of the reasons why we're friends instead of lovers 👈🏼
