I have known my best friend for 53 years and we still talk at least once per week. And I also talk to each of his four children on occasion.

My friend and I look alike and have similar personalities. When younger, we were frequently asked if we were brothers, and the answer was "yes. . . fraternity brothers."

I have an older sister, an older brother, and a younger brother.

My older sister is very hateful and opportunistic and I stopped all contact with her about five years ago. My older brother is a social recluse and I rarely see him although we live in the same city. I have a good relationship with my younger brother.

My friendship does not have any impact on my sibling relationships of which I am aware.
