Why are you asking us what it means for you? Only you know how you feel and you said you didn’t think the date went that well. There were awkward silences and it just wasn’t a match. If you’re hung up on closure then you have just as much capability of reaching out as him, so say something. But if you are far too prideful or afraid of rejection then just cut your losses and move on.

Blocking someone is cowardly. If you loose interest simply express it. The only time someone should block someone is if someone refuses to leave you alone after asking them to and things like that.
