1 ythe only issue I see is if the person is being treated properly, if the one cares about the other, or if there is abuse. otherwise, I don't see a taboo.
There's no way around the fact that... stuff can get weird and assumptions made. here's an example. I was carrying my 2yr old relative down the street and he goes into a bawling panic crying out. No people around me were concerned.
But when you have different races/colors/etc... and the wrong energy going on, someone might suspect "kidnapping" or other malfeasance. It be easy to make a false assumption.
I've seen this as well with male/female fights. How do you know if a woman is screaming because she's upset or she's in a panic because she is being trafficked or abused in some way?
We all make assumptions. So just be hope and honest and reasonable and it's not a problem. I've seen lots of mixed interracial/cultural relationships around and it's not a problem here. in areas where it is more rare, it is likely less accepted... because it's different.

m 1 yImagining the perspective of someone thinking of it as a taboo then... It would be taboo because of a belief that human race would be a category with drawers. These drawers would not be seen as having a similar definition, so these drawers should not be intermingled, because then it creates impurity.
In such a perspective, there are different races instead of one human race, in such a perspective, stay with me:
It would even be okay to use the term: Interracial.

1 yIS it? I've done it for years. My son does it. Doesn't seem like much of a big deal these days. Still less common than same color dating, but more common than ever.
People are realizing the big differences between people are socio-economic and cultural and less to do with "race." There are associations due to historic oppression.
But it's more about religious backgrounds, money and cultural backgrounds.
Unless you're raised in a home where there is a lot of bias against certain groups, you're probably more relaxed about these differences.20 Reply

1 ySome people interracial dating the same as dating someone from a different religion, not good. Why? Because they are different and may not have the same morals as you.

1 yI have no idea… People get weird about stuff as well as envious.
10 ReplyI guess it depends on where you are, but it actually isn't in a lot of places. But like, if you're talking historically, it's usually with regard to white people dating non-white people, and that's just because Europe and the early US were insanely racist against pretty much everyone else in the world (like tried to "scientifically" prove that black people were inherently less intelligent, etc, which like. ya know. bullshit).

You make it sound like they tilted the iq tests, but guess what people take iq tests and the results are... not what you hoped.
- 1 y
@strateguy632 I second this. Sure I could be generous and say that maybe 10% of a particular group might score like me on a test and follow societal rules/norms like I do... but then there is still 90% that just can't and I don't think any amount of training or instruction will fix it. Nurture doesn't fix the nature, it only masks it or makes it something we all know, but are forbidden to openly talk about or acknowledge.
- 1 y
@strateguy632 First the "science" I was referring to was bs like measuring skull size and brain weight - things that we now know do not have significant relation to intelligence, and they were trying to proving that people of other races were more similar to animals that humans in order to justify human rights violations.
That said, even if you do want to obsess over the modern correlation between race and IQ, you have to remember that IQ only tests one form of intelligence and IQ tests are hardly fool proof. You can literally get better at them through practice. Success in IQ tests can also be influenced by complex cultural factors. It's entirely possible that the gap we still see is not purely the effect of genetics. And in response to the last point, the gap that we DO see across races is hardly indicative of sub-human intelligence.
But even further, in response to both yourself and D_Bone_Steak, to consider IQ as a determining factor of human value or character is folly. Regardless of race, having a lower IQ is neither a crime nor necessarily a flaw, to and reason that anyone with a low IQ should not date someone of a higher IQ is to reason in favor of eugenics, and is to dismiss everything that people with lower IQs bring into the world, be it talent, kindness, hard work, joy, etc. Having one specific form of intelligence does not make you inherently better than anyone else, and is certainly not a basis for racial prejudice. Inherent diversity in the human population is not something to be "fixed".

Of course this is pretty silly in modern times, but some people feel entitled to a partner of similar ethnicity, and when someone they might want to date is unavailable, they feel cheated.

1 yI am shocked how intolerant and judgmental many answers here @Danny_dan92 and @TwoToTooTutu2 and others here are... inter race is a matter of etiquette, some people lean elbows on tables... no crime, but others follow etiquette.
In an age when people pretend to be gentle and tolerant, they need to be tolerant about people even who think different than you.
02 Reply- 1 y
The 2 commenters you mentioned weren't even being judgmental or intolerant. What are you even on about?
- 1 y
You're calling me judgmental? I am a prolific race mixer and am currently dating outside my race. Is it because I don't use the PC term?
In the south, it's not really taboo. Then again I'm from an area in the south where there's a lot of interracial relationships and biracial children

Oh boy a male Karen and self appointed arbiter of all that is right and wrong. Haven't you got anything useful to do with your life? - 1 y
@iwillreportu lolz. That and I'm probably being offensive to the wrong group. As we all know, being offensive to Trumpsters gets a pass on this site. This gives me an idea...
What if... there was a character... that was so absurdly liberal... that they/them could even troll liberals for not being liberal enough... so liberal that the far right would think it's absolutely Weimar retarded, I mean Republic, to the point of hilarity.
- 1 y
@haover It's sad that the normies don't understand half the time and take things so seriously that they resort to blocking. On facebook and X I run into that a lot because instead of viewing me as a mockery of what they dislike, they mistake me for what they actually dislike and go on the attack. I suppose it's just part and parcel with the territory. ... as for too liberal, I'm talking extreme..."protect trans kids vs. all kids are trans kids" with my focus being on their use of 'Purity Spirals' (eating of their own and excommunication from their pseudo-religion) for not being for "the cause" (whatever I make up) enough and outing them as a Nazi Fascist bigot sexist Islamophobe ableist.
It's all weaponized autism that's still in the planning phase, but it's going some good fun. - 1 y
*going 2-B some good fun.
- 1 y
@haover True. When something is over-the-top absurd it should be obvious. But like the non-binary, gay, bi, lesbian, trans-everything, trans-racial, queer, pan, demi, ace, and occasionally a toaster personality I'm writing up with Grok right now... I'm banking on retards actually taking it seriously. I need to find a non-brand name e-mail... like maybe a dot EDU or something like that. Grok gave me some great ideas... told it to make a character for sketch comedy and it pooped pure gold.

@iwillreportu A new friend of mine says images of Black Friday is racist, but wishes to remain Anon for now due to fears of newcomers being vetted for purity. I think they might need a list... a list of the usual suspects that take their janitorial duties too far in order to remain out of their sight and out of their minds. Normally I have this list saved as a bookmark, but physical movement and all has that computer in household goods until almost the end of this month.
- 1 y
@haover Good points. Although I do feel the ones that are major problems, get their rocks off by interacting with their potential victims. They tag each other to look and I could tell they were talking about it somewhere else. Basically lining up with each other to report all together at the same time to make sure it sticks. When their ability to tag each other on someone else's question or comment is removed... I think it sucks the fun out of what they do. It also takes away their ability to hold little harassment campaigns to get the user to step out of line.
My most recently blocked acquaintance really opened my eyes to the tactics they use... they're actually trolls themselves, but they don't do it to be funny, they're just really woke and authoritarian. Plus their absurd use of the reporting system sort of makes them evil from my viewpoint. - 1 y
@haover Equity! lolz Notice how one of the most obvious 'usual suspects' is over there right now 'feeling out' the new user. Shisue is going to get blocked faster than fuck boi. Makes me glad they don't get notified when they've been blocked.
- 1 y
Usual suspects trying to follow her as well. I think the best move might be to do this for a couple weeks with bait questions just identify and block.
- 1 y
@iwillreportu Yeah... I'm finding out that joining them just to beat them might be out of my skillset. I have to rely on AI to come up with their word salads and mental gymnastics. Plus, I think their response to something more woke than them is to just to STFU and obey. Basically, I think I found out this theory is actually true -->
search.yahoo.com/search - 1 y
@iwillreportu The more I think about it... are the leftards really that simple? Like if I tested goated out and just started going off about Trump way harder than he does or has the testicular fortitude to, would he simply elect me as his new God simply because I can display faux outrage or TDS at a more extreme level? Winning by purity spiral? They're more tarded than I thought if I'm right about that.
The psychology of them is tripping me out. I should let my terminally paraplegic and gay/trans in every way alter-character sit and really just study them for a while. Maybe start a Bluesky account and just observe them in their own environment. For now, that feels more interesting than interacting or trolling them. I'm genuinely curious if I've started to figure out what makes them tick. - 1 y
@Caries dumb-cunt estrogen dominance on here? All I know is I'm not a cuck and I'm not down with that shit yo.
- 1 y
@Caries Coming off my ban that probably had no reason... all I can think is these mods seem to be driven by power and ego than any real rules of conduct. Especially lately...
I'm guessing they (a very woke and particular group of mods) finally got a Admin in their back pocket and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Either that or I forgot this is basically a Turkish site, which mean a lot of Muslims, and my opinion that Iran is about to go through a regime change was probably wrong think. Which is still annoying because I doubt that opinion violated any term or condition either.
Meanwhile they let these wokesters call people names and accuse people of some pretty sick shit all they want, all day, everyday... they should update the terms of service to reflect it at least lolz "Allowed if you have the correct opinions which are x, y, & z et cetera" or something like that in the terms instead of vague bullshit that has double standards of where it's enforced.
