Why is interracial dating a taboo?

I don't think it's so much of a "taboo" anymore as it used to be. Hasn't it become a kind of a yawner by now? But as one who has been in a long-term interracial relationship, I can tell you that it's easy to believe that it's less likely to be successful then a same racial relationship.

Let's face it even when people are the same race relationships often fail. The more fundamental the differences -- and racial differences are fundamental whether we think that is unfair or not --the more difficulty it adds to the already seemingly impossible to navigate male--female relationship.

Races at their roots are associated with different parts of the planet. And cultural differences between races are therefore often very deeply rooted, going back to antiquity and even beyond to prehistoric times. To make believe there are no differences between races, is simply virtue signaling foolishness. It is equally as foolish as assuming that one race is necessarily inferior to another. Both concepts are ridiculous.

So well the taboo factor has more or less dissipated, the probability of long-term success in such relationships is probably not any higher than it ever was.

Interracial is a very dated term  around here, outdated since the 70's? But I understand that different regions may experience time differently. Regardless, please update your database, it's a big time security concern, cause you know, viruses 👇

It isn't unless you're racist. That's the only thing "taboo" about it. It's impossible for it to be taboo unless you're racist. That's why, 100% of the time. 🙂

It is? Could've fooled me!! Damn near every commercial or advert in a magazine these days features a married or dating couple with a white woman and a black man, (but, rarely ever a black woman with a white man!) and they either have Malada kids, completely black kids or Oriental kids!!
