It's becoming common and natural for guys to call the girlfriends "bitches", but girls don't call their boyfriends "assholes".
Even girls call themselves "bitches" but guys never do similar.
Personally I call my girlfriend "bitch" sometimes, and she doesn't protest. She never called me any bad name. Hence, it's common for girls to be called this way, uncommon for guys.
