Well welcome to the world of double standards and possibly narcissists! You will notice that people project who they are onto their partner so even if you’re loyal to the bone wouldn’t even fantasize about cheating yet he’s wanting to go through your phone but is protective of his. That’s a MAJOR issue…

I don’t think he’s worth your time and you’re seeing his true colors. This is how these people operate he’s entitled to his own privacy but he’s also entitled to snoop through your shit. All your texts to your mom and friends while he’s hiding chats with other females on his phone.

Even if he’s not hiding anything it’s still double standards. You’ll notice this a lot with narcissists that they have a set of rules for themselves and another set for everyone else. Such as he may look in your phone at any time but you can’t touch his.

Same thing if he ever cheats on you it will never be his fault. Well you weren’t a good enough girlfriend (nothing is ever good enough for these people). You just didn’t pay enough attention to me. Well you were too clingy. You can NEVER win with these people there will always be a reason no matter what you do.

But hypothetically if you ever cheated (not saying you would) you would be the worst person who ever existed. Believe me too that narcissists will smear campaign you. If they cheated and you never did theh will make stories up about how you cheated. How you were abusive. How you was a terrible girlfriend.
