Is it a red flag that my boyfriend won’t let me touch his phone?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year and half and I’ve never once wanted to go on his phone or feel the need to check it because I respect his privacy. But the other day I jokingly looked over him when he was on it and he told me he never wanted me to use his phone because he’s scared of what will come up in his autocorrect if I type something. I couldn’t imagine how bad it could be and it made me question if I can trust him or wtf is in his auto correct?

Are you overly jealous and usually ask him about girls he talks to and all that kind of stuff? If you are, then he might be just wanting to not spend hours explaining the most ridiculous stuff. That's the reason I didn't want my girlfriend to look at my phone. I wasn't doing anything bad or shady, but I knew if she looked at it, she would start asking lots of questions about my female friends and all that stuff, just because she gets jealous the moment I spend a second talking to another female.

If the answer to the first question is "no", then he might be hiding something bad, like flirting with other girls, cheating, or at the very least inappropriate stuff

No I’m not a jealous person at all and we’ve never had problems like that. I’ve never even had a thought about him cheating because I trusted him until now I’m unsure if I was to easy on him and now I’m wondering if maybe he is hiding something

I don't think you were too easy on him. Keeping an eye on your partner at all times only makes things worse, not better. He may be a cheater, but you keeping an eye on him wouldn't have changed that. I'm pretty sure he's hiding something, and I think you should just grab his phone whenever you can and check for yourself, then confront him about it regardless. It's OK to be nice until you get some real reason to suspect; then you have to show them, in my opinion

Yeah I can't honestly defend that excuse so I think he's hiding something but remember to not assume its cheating as it could be something personal because while I'm not defending him doing something rash can go wrong at times. But its still a lie so I would confront him about it either way or at least take caution.

After a year and a half I would find it odd he doesn't want you to see his phone. I mean have you ever just used his phone to text someone or call someone because you misplaced your phone? That's a long time never to have been on each others phone at least once.

This sort of reminds me of a Korean drama I saw where the wife thought something was up but she couldn't get into her husband's phone because he used a thumbprint instead of a code. One night he fell asleep and she touched all his fingers to the phone until one opened it. In his case he was cheating. I'm not saying your boyfriend is but he's acting a bit strange.

The best way for us guysto break off with a girl we seeing without us talking much. Is simple for those who use passwors. Just deactivate the Passcode lock. Place it on table she sneaks checks it out And she will sob And cry.
