I mean. I still have to find him attractive. Decent photos of a guy I'm not attracted to aren't really going to do much. I do think it's worth having good photos so that the people who are likely to find you attractive can actually tell if you're their taste, but it's not going to influence the people who were never intersted in the first place.

I'm not sure I undestand the question and I don't use dating apps on principle, but I believe that pics with good light and composition, with clear features and highlights of an average guy can be better and more appealing than grainy, low quality pictures of a more attractive guy.
