I really don’t understand that concept of friends with benefits. If you’re attracted to a person and enjoy their company, why not date them?

Because it's possible to be attracted to someone, but not really enjoy their company enough to actually want to date them (esp if your current mindset or circumstances aren't really compatible with a committed romance). It's definitely not for everyone.

For me personally, it's fine as a short term thing when I'm in the right mindset, but not most of the time and never for very long. I usually end up bored or annoyed after a while.
