Trending & News There was a strange week in my life that I received five proposals. (That's not typical for me at all, obviously, but there seemed to be something in the universe... either that we were all graduating or something concerning the finality of moving away from each of these guys that acted like incentive to spur their hearts into action.)
SUITOR1: I could have married the guy who owned about 2/3 of the state we were living in. I loved his family VERY much (and still do), but it would have been like a squirrel trying to marry a sparrow. No good. I let him down easy and still send his aunt and mom bouquets for their Thanksgiving tables be they hosted me the years I was living next to them. (Don't cry for that guy. He's VERY happily married CEO with two strapping young lads.)
SUITOR2: I could have married the very wooden-hearted guy who had marriage on some bucket list of things to do before he took his next tour of duty. (He was funny bc he appeared three hours early to a study group session just to ask me.) While I applaud his efforts and service, we were definitely not a good match AT ALL and I know my loopy business style would have driven him nuts. Again, don't cry for that guy. He's now a very highly-ranked and decorated Naval Officer.
SUITOR3: I could have married the actor (now baby daddy to a 7yo) who was mad for me since college but didn't believe in marriage... and wanted to marry me anyhow. (He would NEVER have been comfortable in a marriage... and I wouldn't have wanted to be with a guy who shifts personalities every week "to fully immerse himself in a role".)
SUITOR4: I could have married the VERY sexy quiet guy who was just happy walking next to me after every class till he finally figured out how to ask me out for a coffee the weekend I was moving... then blurted out that he didn't want me to leave... (SIGH... RE-FUCKING-GRET.)
SUITOR5: I married the jock i had been tutoring back in college who seemed to be launching a writing/managerial career, but turned out to be a massive con artist. (Blah Blah Blah. 20+ years and a couple of children later he still LIVES to ruin my life any way possible and I live to smile and baffle him with my resilience.)
I've made decisions that I shouldn't have. We live and we learn.

I regret initially rejecting the guy who ended up being my boyfriend in the end for a time. I liked someone else in college and was trying to pursue him instead of my now ex. I wish I would have chosen my ex then. Maybe we would still be together today. 💔
Personally no, I’ve always had reason for rejecting a guy.
Nope. I have always rejected for all the right reasons.
I never needed to choose between men because I have never grown closer to more than one man at the same time :D
I regreted it during a little bit of time but when I talked to him about people they all told me he sounded more red pilled than a red piller so I no longer regret rejecting him.
All of my loves were unrequited, but I was never rejected, because I'm too shy, so I never actually asked a girl out.
Nope. I love the guy I’m with.
No I'm extremely happy with who I'm with.
no. because i didn't like him.
