It's certainly a red flag if you allow zodiac signs to consume your life and dictate your love life. It should never be taken seriously as it is a pseudoscience.
Saw a dating show on YouTube where the woman rejected a guy because of his sign. I thought how idiotic can one be to reject someone based on when they were born?
Imagine believing that the relative position of the planets and the stars could have a special deep significance or meaning that exclusively applies to only you in 2025.. That's no different than believing in augury, the existence of Yeti the snowman of the Himalayas or that thunder and lightning are signs of divine wrath
Thank you for saying it πππΌ
Haha π
Thank you for mho

Neither. I don't ever think "WOW HE IS INTO ASTROLOGY" but I also don't wrinkle my nose at it. Personally it's a little funny how people's personalities DO align with the time of year that they're born and those born in transitional seasons are (in some ways) more flexible or resilient than those who aren't possibly because of some natural reflex. Similarly, "morning people" and "evening people" can often be linked to the time of day that a person is born (not bc of some astrological Rising/Falling (?) theory but because that's just organically when you first had to become alert).
Astrology, like anything else, is just some way folks try to make sense of the world and our place in it... of how we all fit together.
As a joke bc I was approached by a guy who was not at all my type who was coming on strong (and suddenly mentioned that it was his birthday) I said "Oh! Oh no... Gemini... it would never work." We both laughed it off and had a nice evening, but I felt things cooled off after the Gemini comment. (FYI, It genuinely was his bday. He wasn't saying it as a line to get up my skirt for his bday.)
I think it depends on how the person is using it. I know it sounds crazy that the position of plants dates and times could influence the physical world but anyone that truly understands quantum physics understands there is more to everything then we have yet to put our finger on. I'm a very logical person but I've also been told things through astrology that I couldn't explain and were very true. I think there is more to everything then we currently understand. People seem to forget we also use to say no one could sail across the Atlantic Ocean 700 years ago. Now we commonly fly to space. Just cause we are disconnected from other dimensions doesn't mean they don't exist just not yet discovered. To doubt something is to limit the mind, I don't limit myself no matter how crazy an idea may seem.
No flag. People choose to believe in a host of things that might not be true but that they enjoy believing in. Astrology is kind of fun. Just like Tarot is. Neither have any solid basis in reality, but they're enjoyable. Serious belief, as in everything in Astology or the Tarot is completely true, well that's another story.
If someone is nattering on about how your Cancer personality is why you divoreced your Scorpio ex-wife, well you'd better run the other way. There's "fun" belief and there's serious belief. The serious believers are like the Lizard People in the Center of the Earth people. Somethings way off about them. You don't want to hang around to find out WHAT...
I know my star sign, the star signs of my family, the star signs of my girlfriend's family. Heck, I used to send people funny Onion horoscopes. Three favorites were
"Same as last week, except this time the wombats have chainsaws"-My dad's sign
"Your irrational fear of sharks will be replaced by a well-educated and completely rational fear of sharks"-My mom's sign and she gained a fear of sharks after watching Jaws. She's so afraid she won't even do cruises
"Due to your enduring optimism your death this week will come as a complete surprise. Due to your devout faith, what comes after will be an even bigger surprise"-My sister's sign who recently found religion
All for fun. Beyond that is a sign of mental instability.
Although it's nice to be knowledgeable about astrology, one should not try to define their destiny through horoscopes.
Just treat the subject as entertainment.
Beyond red flag. It's a complete deal breaker.
I don't believe in it. Doesn't matter if my partner does
When people start talking about astrology it gives me the ick.
Itβs red flag if they actually really believe in it and dictate their Life by it if not if its just for fun from time to time it s ok
Anyone who says they won't date a person because of their star sign is already halfway crazy based on that statemen alone.
Red flag. Don't need anyone that stupid or naive.
I feel it's more of a pink flag. It could go either way. I'm slow to judge.
I wouldn't call it a red flag exactly, but it definitely gives me the ick.
Hahaha I heard this on the radio yesterday morning lol
Green flag. It can show that you're passionate about something.
Neither really but I like talking about astrology so it gives us something to talk about
It doesn't bother me at all (unlike religious fanatics).
Why are they different to you?
Because religious fanatics are trying to impose their religion on me.
Well anyone can believe what they want to believe but don't throw it on my face then it becomes a red flag
HUGE red flag.
