My boyfriend is using WhatsApp again. Be honest do most guys use it for cheating?

? I had a gut feeling my boyfriend was using WhatsApp again. He deleted and then recently started again. Should I be worried? What would a 40-year-old man need with WhatsApp?

Whatsapp is my main means of communication for family, friends, and clients. I've never heard of anyone using it to cheat specifically. There are other apps that are way more cheat-friendly like Snapchat or even Instagram.

Whatsapp is the same as having someone's number and let's be honest... most women aren't just handing their numbers out on a silver platter.

Thinking that someone is cheating just because they're using WhatsApp is incredibly mistrusting and insecure.

Why not just ask them who they communicate with on Whatsapp? Just communicate with your partner.

If your boyfriend used this application in the past to flirt online or to look at women or to exchange deviant content with other people or women, then there is a good chance that he is using it again.

Remember that looking at other women, to watch sexual or pornographic clips and pictures while being in a relationship is considered as emotional cheating. If you suspect that he does that, then yes, he is cheating on you, at least emotionally.

I would be very suspicious and careful about his activities with this application. At age 40, one would think that he is over the age to use that application.

Anyone on the planet can use any possible object/app to cheat.

Whatsapp is not specifically made for hidden communications and cheating. It's just an app.

I have actually never owned a smartphone for all that bs. In my opinion, if a couple truly wants a happy, strong, lasting relationship, they need to agree that neither of them can have a smartphone and social media has to be very limited with what they can post publicly and who they can add as friends/contacts online.

I don't know what it's like where you are, but around here, Whatsapp is pretty much unavoidable.
The company I work for uses it to communicate with staff about the work rota, staff availability, social events, and any other updates.
The sports clubs that I'm a member of, also all use it to communicate with members about cancelled sessions, team lineups for upcoming matches, social events, etc.

This is the first time i have heard of WhatsApp being used for cheating. It makes no difference than using any other social platform. He could or he couldnt be using it as a means to cheat. But he is using it as a platform of communication
