Why would a married guy keep all of his exes numbers in his phone?

Imagine one day, you get a text saying "Hey I miss you so much." and you don't know the number and can't explain it to your partner. At least if you have their number, you would know who it is and be able to explain it your partner and also choose to ignore or reply to, updating them on your current relationship status.

I personally think it's better to keep the numbers of your exes. It's not to reach out to them. It's just to keep you informed of who is reaching out IF the scenario arises.

When it comes to transparency, I always give my partners fingerprint access to my phone to show I'm not hiding anything.

If they don't trust me because I have my exes numbers on my phone, that would be extremely insecure and illogical because I would literally have all the evidence that I'm not cheating.

The reason I do it, is so that I know who not to pick the phone up to and because I'm fucking lazy. I guess another possible reason which you're probably thinking about, is she's a quick backup plan.
