Yet another term I had to Google first before answering. 😆 Anyway, I think people do this. Instead of just breaking up with the person, they do this crap. 🙄

The link you gave is typical of popular press alerting an impressionable audience about an isolated event involving a random redpiller. If that event inspires people to analyze more who they're in love with then I'd be happy. If that event inspires people to fear the world and people, then the far-right will be happy.

At least one of us is going to be happy.
