Is money becoming a dangerous thing now?

I hear many stories in the news about people attacking or killing or robbing or stalking people for being good looking or rich and I have a rich friend whose car has been stolen 3 times. It seems the world is getting to the point where too much or too little can put you at risk.

My stalker who harasses me for over 50 hours a week tried to get people to support her bullying tactics by making up stories about how I was insanely rich and bought $20,000 bags and diamond necklaces for my friends. Her philosophy was, if they thought I was rich, they would want me dead just as much as she does.

The Bible says the Love of money is the root of all kinds of evils. Money seems to be the driving force for a lot of people in this life. Personally I detest money. Because it forces us to do things we don't want to do just to pay those bills month after month like clockwork. With the inflation causing everything to go up people can't even afford much entertainment so working just to keep paying those bills and keep the lights and heat on can become a mundane experience. I just keep reminding myself that we are not to store up treasures here on Earth where. Because the Bible says as long as we have food to eat and close to where we should be thankful. And also that this Earth is not our home it's just our journey to home for those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Once we're up there then we will have the Mansion he is making for us and all the rewards he hands to us for all the things we've done for him here on Earth.

I've witnessed blood relatives who would resort to harming each other for money. Therefore, I would argue that it's a dangerous force capable of driving people to extreme actions.
