Do you ever have someone hot and cold?

I figure that if someone’s genuinely interested in me they will show equal effort. I understand that things happen out of someone’s control but if someone flakes on me I won’t go out with them anymore. If they don’t seem interested in making plans and you ask them when they are available and they just never have time.

But it’s weird you move on and all the sudden. There they are again…. Wondering where you have been as if you’re the bad guy (or girl) when they were the ones who started acting cold. When there are other people that are showing genuine interest who wouldn’t move on?

It’s like they’re desperate all the sudden after not really wanting much of anything.

I agree if a lady is interested they will reciprocate finished. Even an introverted girl will throw some signs in her own way, keep in mind some females are bad texters but even that they will still show other signs

Hot and cold doesn’t sound too bad. Maybe they have plans and things to do. This can be an opportunity to take things slow. I’m not a fan of rushing and love bombing.

I understand there is another extreme of people who feel as if they are entitled to someone else’s time. As if someone can’t have a life outside of them.

But it’s also true that people flake without a good excuse. Especially when they don’t like someone doing it to them. Consistency show up late because they didn’t want to leave the house on time

I also don’t think it’s right for someone to like me so quickly and so much. There’s people who are looking at the wrong things or interested in the wrong things and might not think about the deeper connection.

True flaking can be complicated. I’d they’re disappearing for long periods of time without communicating or not answering phone calls for long periods of time is suspicious. It shows lack of interest too.

Well I agree there are boundaries first couple dates are just getting to know one another. But it’s rude to flake on someone.

If someone decides against a date that’s okay if they are mature and not cowards to communicate that. Don’t waste my time…. People are scared someone will be angry when most people will be MORE angry you flaked without a exclamation instead of just calling it off. You can both do your own thing

If someone just ignores someone then yeah I agree. But eventually people just move on they don’t have time for it.

People shouldn’t be cowards and just ignore someone or flake I agree. Communicate… Don’t waste someone’s time. I don’t want someone to feel OBLIGATED to do anything with me. If they don’t want to hang out just tell me…. I want someone who wants to hang out.

That’s the other extreme. Yes, there are people too who feel like you don’t have a life outside of them and they don’t have a life outside of you.
