Does being hot and cold make someone like you more? Is this a type of game that would work? Also what some ways a person could be hot and cold towards somebody?

Admittedly that worked on me when I was much younger and very gullible. I had a girlfriend who even literally made me chase after her, like running away in the opposite direction when she was upset, as well as shit-testing me all the time. I sometimes wonder in hindsight if I really loved her or if she just made the relationship so hard that I became too attached to how much work and investment I put in. There was always this sense like she was on the verge of leaving me. "I love you so much" one day and "I need to reconsider our relationship" the next.

After her though, I became thoroughly allergic to women like this. I was fooled one time like this but never again.

Being hot and cold might get you some attention at first... but long term it never works for long. People hate people who play games like this... once or twice its cute if maybe you are having a bad day or something. Over time it makes you a self centered, selfish and emotionally unavailable person... that's either a teaser, player or heartless B.

Relationships or liking someone can go from hot to cold or cold to hot.
But playing the "hot/cold" game as a way of manipulating the person or situation is not way to get someone to like you... If someone REALLY likes or loves you, they wouldn't play games with you or toy with your affection

Playing games does not work for long. There is usually a winner, and also a loser. Boing hot and cold mens the other person just does not know where they are with you. That could well make YOU the loser.

Games are for children. That sort of behavior will turn off any reasonable adult.

No it’s exhausting being with someone hot and cold. Being consistent in your actions is super hot and attractive
