Do you believe that dating coaches are a huge scam?

I heard people say that they do give horrible advices and that it's all rooted in manipulative tactics, involving mind games. Is that true?

I agree with Nikki on this one.
The industry itself is full of all kinds of dodgy individuals all putting their own spin on the whole dating thing to sell you their product instead of others


But the core concept isn’t a scam


If you don’t have the skills needed to successfully land dates you don’t just go sit in your bed and cry yourself to sleep until you die
You go out and get good
That requires taking advice from those who have done it successfully before you


There’s good and bad advice out there and it’s only through practice that you’ll be able to take the good and leave the bad


I myself started from a very shy and introverted beginning
I didn’t have role models as I’m the eldest of my family and I wasn’t gonna ask my dad for dating advice


Through consuming all the content freely available on the dating industry I managed to flip the script rather quickly.


Now I have more success with woman than anyone else I know and that’s saying something


It wasn’t easy and still isn’t but the changes are worth it


So yes you need to dodge scammers but you shouldn’t write off the whole industry because the alternative is loneliness and constant complaining on the internet

Whether dating coaches are a “huge scam” is a matter of perspective, but it's more accurate to say that that dodgy industry is unregulated and varies wildly in quality.

Seek your advice wisely. An anon on here is hardly a credible source of information, for one obvious example.
