Women will go based strictly on his looks and how tall he is. The majority of women or girls who read this know this is not a lie. However, as a guy, I can't speak on behalf of all guys/men. But I am not that superficial because 1) I don't know what she looks like without makeup, 2) I don't know how much she weighs, 3) I don't know her history of her past relationships. Women and girls are far more judgmental. I deleted dating apps because they gave me anxiety and depression with how rude, immature and idiotic some girls are. I firmly believe whatever goes around comes around. If you hurt someone, eventually you're going to pay the price. I will be blunt, we are in a stage where women and girls use dating apps finding Mr. Perfect tall prince or just using it for attention/validation and ego. I think more guys and men (not all) who use dating apps to get married one day. Any guy with good morals and ethics and believes in God who has been through such a rough stretch in life dealing with awful girls knows that finding that one loyal girl he finds pretty and he can lean on so she helps him and he helps her is not something to be wasted.

I don't think most people will match with someone they feel unattracted too looks-wise. It's complicated though. Because you have the absolutely gorgeous people like celebrities and models on one side of the spectrum, then you have the Quasimodo's on the other side. Almost all of us fall somewhere in the middle. Most guys and gals look fine. You can always improve your appearance, and if you are willing too, you can get surgeries, work with a personal trainer and a stylist, most people could become gorgeous.

Looks matter at every age. How much depends on the person. Take heart in the fact that there are very few completely ugly people.

The thing with online dating you have to understand is most women on dating sites are just there to window shop. They're not really interested in dating ANY guy. Maybe that rare unicorn, but probably not even him. So don't take women rejecting you personal. She's not rejecting you, she rejecting the male species in general.😆

Absolutely, especially if you're a guy. Young women and some women overall are brutal when assessing dating app photos.

Men on the other hand (as long as they aren't delulu) usually have a fairly reasonable smash/pass litmus test. If they're over estimating themselves, natural selections will take it's due course with no matches and his mates will begin to tell him how it is when he starts complaining.

Looks matter in as much that you need to see something you like, combined with a nice bio in order to ‘swipe’. Once you’ve chatted and bit on text you’ll know if you want to meet. I’m never going to swipe on someone who I don’t find attractive in some way, whether it’s a smile, nice eyes or a good dress sense.
