I think Gen Z girls have destroyed dating. Social media destroyed their brain cells.

On social media I see what girls I know like/follow and it’s clear that girls don’t have any realistic expectations and demand absolute perfection but don’t give it.

Basic pretty face and they all demand perfection! A perfect guy that will buy them a 300k car, 80k Rolex, while being over 6ft, super handsome and only loyal to her. This is the Instagram content I see most girls my age like.

Now maybe I can provide all that, but I hate the entitlement and inauthenticity of all this. It’s fake/artificial and sadly what girls are like.

Women no longer want to find a guy and be there for him and grow with him from when he had nothing, and add tremendous value to his life. Girls look at guys like ATMs, like how much can I take out of this guy.

Is dating still worth it? I’ve had female interest and I don’t know if I should trust them or gave given them a chance, or make a move etc… I just keep away. I wanna have a family but not with someone fake and selfish.

Marriage used to be the general objective of both guys and girls, find someone who makes you happy and build a life with them. That seems to be your general ideal world objective.

Fast forward to 2025. The median length of marriage is 8 years with 1.8 children. 50% of marriages end before 8 years and 50% are longer than 8 years is what median means. In 80% of those divorces it is unilaterally initiated by the wife.

By a decade of marriage it is close to a 60% divorce rate. At 20 years there is another peak of 'grey' divorces.

Women divorce based on the child cycle. 8 years is enough time to have to two children and get them into primary/elementary school. The wife will get most of the assets, certainly the house whilst the husband gets to re-establish himself while still paying child support. School provides child minding so the husband isn't that useful anymore.

Divorces at 20 years corresponds to the empty nest Children depart and husband is departed.

Do these sound like good dating objectives? Very expensive sex is what it is for women and I think you have figured it out.

What I will say is as a Woman that’s 23 the most I expect out of a man is loyalty and communication, because honestly I don’t want to be with a man who cheats on me.
that being said it’s just as hard for a women like me to find a good man, because just like women men also demand perfection. They want a skinny girl, that’s a virgin (yet said man has slept with 5-10 girls) they want someone who will have sex with them multiple times a day, someone who will cook and clean. Not everyone can cook but yes they can clean. There are a lot of girls who like myself are looking for a guy who actually just care and want to love them and are also loyal and won’t cheat, but guys don’t want to choose those girls because they aren’t a “10/10 with a banging body”.
but I will say this it’s really hard for anyone to date now because some people just want hook ups, or some have high standards that only a small amount can reach.
