Why do people believe women and men value the same thing from the opposite sex?

Because everybody wants love essentially. So some people think we're all alike. Problem is those people do not take into account that not everyone has the same definition of love.

I've said before that there no doubt in my mind I've had women that "loved" me. But they loved me the way THEY wanted to love me, not the way I needed to be loved. Good intentions aren't always enough. And not every person even has good intentions. This is why so few relationships work out.

I don't know. Humans are very strange creatures. we have overcomplicated courtship rituals. Marrying for love is a fairly recent thing. Most marriages were arranged by the parents that way they are happy.

This is much more a thing with today's women than men. It's obvious right here on GAG everyday that today's women have no clue what men want and need in a women. They can't seem to understand why they can't get a guy when they are well educated, have a good job, earn good money, own a home, etc. Gee, could it be that men don't give a fuck about those things they way women do? But women are more flexible for certain reasons.

Guys can't be flexible unless they are desperate.

I use logic, fat woman have had kids, but mostly with fat guys, or with guys who are into fat girls, but as you know, skinny guys who like fat girls are very rare.

I mentioned that I know a fat girl, she wanted to be with me, but I friend-zoned her.
So what did she do? She started dating some fat guy... what else.
That's how I know, but even without that knowledge, I would assume it, by using pure logic.
