Hi I have recently been dating a girl of who i know and live quite close to.. we've slept together quite a few times! I have mixed emotions about weather to take things further or just friends! We get on really well and chemistrys there. She decided to tell me last night that she had come out with herpes of which has come as a massive shock to the system, which has blown everything up in the air about future.. any help or advice is needed please to move forward?

Herpes is very common and manageable, so it doesn’t automatically mean you can’t keep seeing her. What matters is that she was honest now you should learn about protection, transmission risk, and decide if you’re comfortable continuing condoms, avoiding sex during outbreaks, etc. If you like her, take it slow, get informed, and make a decision based on facts not just the initial shock.
