Zero!
I've spent a lot of time in the past searching, but possibly in the wrong places.
My excuse is I have concentrated on my career and education, and this is totally a male dominated area.
I have been involved in a mixed volleyball team, and I've been involved in keeping fit with plentiful of females taking part, and I have showed an interest in the females.
So it's not as though I have isolated myself, but I now need to put in more effort again and find my life's partner.
I pretty much had to put a lot of effort in this time, but fortunately it paid off. After living in Chicago for forty years, I moved to Guam six months ago, an island territory (U. S.) that has a population of 170,000 but virtually no single women, leaving me with two choices if I wanted to live here long term: be alone or try to meet someone who lives elsewhere and convince them to relocate here. I'm going to marry a Filipina woman who's 20 years younger than me in January.
I put a lot of time and effort into finding love and marriage. During the summer, I go to under-21 clubs on weekends. I enter fun runs and go swimming, and smile and say "Hi" to attractive guys.
At college, I go to parties most weekends and sometime crash parties at other local colleges. It is easy to meet guys, but it is not easy to get a proposal from guys I want.
It's waning everyday. At this point, if it happens it happens. But if it doesn't, I'll be alright.

Each day is different and it's not so much of me searching it's more like if there might be an opportunity
Hello 🌷 do you believe that the most beautiful moments are always unplanned?
A fair bit when it comes to online dating. But I don't meet girl often when I go out, so not much when I socialize
Effort has nothing to do with it in that effort doesn't have a proportionality to outcome given how outcomes vary from person to person for a consistent effort given. If you have to put a lot of effort in, I question if the outcome is a actually worth it.
If I find it, I find it but I'm not going out of my way for it given how people are all too frequently disposed of with the first bump in the road.
I used to put a lot of effort into it, and it never worked out. But I have since found me partner, and I wasn't even looking for it/him. He came into my life, we were friends for a few years, and it just happened organically :)
How?
@es20490446e We met on the first day of school in our program. We were both in relationships at the time, so we ended up being friends. Then he took a break from school didn't see him for a year, and in said time both our relationships ended. He returned to school the following year, we were assigned as partners in one of the classes, and it just flourished from there. He was flirty, I gave in an flirted too, and it kinda just happened. He's still my best friend. :)
Interesting.
So why did you put so much effort in previous attempts, and not in this one?
How was the situation different, so you didn't need to put the effort?
@es20490446e
I mean previously I would go out with friend's to social events, to speed dating, I would date online, I would honestly try anything to meet someone. This one was honestly just organic, in the sense that he and I werent trying to date each other 'off the bat' and get to know each other that way. We were already close friends for 2 years, and one day decided to go out to a movie (which we would do with our friends all the time, so it didn't seem like a date). We grabbed dinner to catch up first, and then during the movie we ended up holding hands and then making out in the car on the way home afterwards. It was so unexpected, but fun.
Thanks for sharing a so lovely and useful story 👍
Not much anymore! I used to but when i've been told that i look & sound Desperate, then i took it down a "few gears" until i Stop It Completely! 🤷♂️, can't be bothered anymore, i got used with... Peace!
I don't know is it considering a lot of effort to walk in front of my crush house multiple time a week when he got suspended for three months so he would not forget me xD
About to figure it out haven't tried in 25 years I really should've had that mindset my whole marriage but that seems to be the way life is always to late
You'll never find it if you're searching for it. You stumble across the real thing.
About the only effort you can put into finding love is to interact as much as you can with your preferred gender and hope for sparks.
I used to go to clubs, was active in groups that did hiking and skiing, and did some online dating.
Now I don't go out at night, hike or ski by myself, and don't date at all. So I guess pretty much zero effort at this time.
Almost none. It has always just happened.
LOVE 💕 will find you 💃💯
Zero.
Whatever ''love'' means to say... it comes along or it doesn't.
I'm not in a hurry, or pressed to win trophies and medals.
I used to put a lot of effort it it. Ironically I gave up on dating for a while or maybe forever. I met my future wife the next day.
What was different about her?
-10/10 Not only do I put in no effort, but I also turn down the opportunities that come my way.
Absolutely none , I have already found it. My efforts are placed well in sustaining it
Not a great deal, and never did... it just seemed to find me when I was much younger.
None anymore. I learned that no matter how much effort I put in, I just spin my wheels and that sucks.
I just don't know what I'm doing.
It rarely finds you if you don't put yourself out there. You need to put effort in
Its basically like a job.
The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it.
Love is only in fairy tales, so I don't really put any effort into searching for it in real life.
Honestly, not too much. I just focus on bettering myself and let love happen naturally instead of forcing it.
Not any more. Did once and it broke me. Seeking peace.
Zero. Doesn’t mean I am not open to the idea. I just don’t make any sorted effort.
I used to put a lot of effort in. After 4 years of no success I don't put in any effort anymore
It seems like way too much for the one person I want.
I see nothing but unhappy people in relationships. My sister has been married for 13 years. He is. Very lazy and expects my sister to do all the household chores while he goes out to play dungeons and dragons. He insists on eating out every night. When they can't afford to. He spends too much money on rpg crap. My sister has to borrow money from my parents to pay their mortgage payments. She is fed up with him and has threatened him several times with leaving if he can't get his crap together. Meanwhile I'm single with a good bachelor's degree no kids and live for myself. I don't come home to someone nagging and yelling at me. Just dinner shower bed. My weekends I spend in my bed watching mystery science theater 3000.
I don't put effort to search for love, i think it happens automatically, not by searching.
I never tried. Saw too many bad relationships growing up.
Whatever I tried in the past, was not successful, so what's the point?
I'm already too old for that, no girl I like wants me.
I don't. Not anymore. I figure if I haven't found it by now it's just going to have to find me. Meanwhile I'm just going live my life.👍
I typed it into the search engine but I never hit the search button….
I put more effort in creating love for myself and others
None because I'm ugly, don't make enough, and I'm too short
You can't find love. Love finds you.
Ehh. I’m not really motivated at this time.
I approach and ask.
None. Im done with that nonsense
Zero.
Now? 0
How much efforts you put?
I put zero
None.
None at all.
Lately, zero...
