Socially Awkward

Not a good person, gives off bad vibes

Too shy, seems uninterested or standoffish

Doesn't seem interesting, have hobbies, joke, just really boring

As a guy gets older the dating pool gets more and more depleted of good women. This laves a higher and higher concentration of bad women. To make matters worse the women that left left are just more and more jaded and bitter with every passing year. There reaches a point where a guys just has little to know interest in putting forth titanic effort to allay her fears and prove that he's not one of the MANY mistakes she's made in the past.

So you might call that lazy. He's not there just isn't much in it for him anymore. At a certain age dating just simply becomes a losing proposition for a guy.

Because they don't know themselves. The problem is within themself. They haven't taken the time to understand their own inner life, their own needs, their own strengths and weaknesses. Without that foundation, all social relationships, including dating, will be a struggle. They can't build a connection with another person if they can't first build a connection with themselves.

I would say she has a fear towards men, because of horrible past experiences. Which I agree that she should definitely take her time but it’s hard to tell her there are good ones when the original cause was sexual assault

I know a woman I used to work with that is single and wishes she could find a partner to take care of her so she can stay home and raise a family. Her main problem? She is 38. lol Yeah, shouldn't have spent her youth partying and being a low quality person/ Too stupid to realize what she wants will never happen.

Probably selfishness. Dating requires giving of oneself to another, whether it be financially, time, or other expenditures in hopes of gaining something. It's a selfish endeavor. And a game a lot of people just don't want to play.
