Most people will go through financial or emotional struggles at some point in their lives. That in and of itself wouldn't be a reason for me to avoid dating someone. I do think it depends on the person though and if they were willing to get help for their emotional problems as well as communicate about the financial issues since those are things that can become a bigger issue later down the road if not addressed.

Actually, no. That’s too much baggage to take on from the get go. If we were dating and he fell on hard times, I’d stand by him and help him get back up.
