I often ponder this.
Particularly in this social media world you can see many young women want this super rich Prince Charming to take them away on his yacht.

Every single divorce the women took as much of the man’s money she could. Women work and even that hasn’t changed. Men are shamed for not having money or not being rich. Women make money and say they don’t need a man?

Lately, I’ve just not been excited about dating anyone. I’ve been on a break - got rid of the apps for a month. I’m not saying that women don’t like men or aren’t attracted to men, but money is such a big part.

Yeah women on the other hand of course they want to guy with money they want to know that the man can take care of them if something was to happen. They want to know that the man is responsible.

She wants to feel safe. She wants to be protected. She wants a happy life. Of course she's gonna love the guy but there's more to it than just love that's what makes love stronger

And if you don't understand that and you don't know what love is. You never been in love and nobody will ever love you. Because you'll be too busy fighting with them about money

If a guy make 100k she wants him to make 200k

There is no END to most women's wants. So is it about the money? Or is her twisted view of what a healthy relationship is?

I try to tell any guy that will listen that most women today are NOT wife material. It's not that most are evil people. It's simply that most have no idea what true character and commitment are. I will tell most guys that when a woman sets a dollar amount on how much he needs to make he should RUN. Not because her number is bad or unrealistic. It's because a man with character will never stop striving, in good times and in bad. That woman that places a dollar amount on you, will MOST LIKELY abandon you at the first sign of trouble. And better you find that out now. Than after you're inexplicably link to them with children.👍

I'm after a stable life, can't have a stable life without a backup plan and a means to support ourselves.
I think a woman's in her right to marry someone in their income range. She can marry someone below it, but honestly it's not the best idea if she doesn't have a savings or isn't in the higher middle class. Women's bodies are unpredictable and can trigger a medical emergency at anytime. God forbid she accidentally gets pregnant with someone who can't support all 3 of them or has a cryptic pregnancy.
It's self preservation and self care

I’m going to say it’s just the social media world. At least everyone I know and the people I’ve met I don’t think I’ve ever encountered someone that spoke about men this way. I’ve only come across it on this site (and I’m sure other social media sites have people with these kinds of ideologies). To prove this just go outside and look around, look at the couples, there are many couples and that doesn’t necessarily mean the guy in those relationships are rich.
