Single guys and looking for a wife, does this get you down and kinda depressed?

I know that there are a lot of guys who love being single.
I'm speaking to the ones who want love, marriage, and a family.
After spending many years alone 😔 does it seem like it's not going to ever happen?
And if it doesn't happen then what other things do you do to fulfill your life with?
And are you doing anything about trying to meet a potential wife? If so, what steps are you taking?
Or do you just trust fate will bring you two together? ❤️

I haven't been single for a long time, but I wouldn't want to go back to the situation you describe. I think that my whole life, as soon as I turned 16, has been determined by the many crushes I had (as almost always, girls I could never be with) and several relationships where it either 1) didn't go anywhere and it ended in a mutual break up, 2) girls I couldn't get to love a 100%, or 3) girls who ended the relationship. In all 3 scenarios, I always felt left out and almost gave up on the idea of ever finding someone meaningful. 20+ years later, I know I have.

I believe that the most difficult part of finding someone to be in a relationship with is finding someone. That's the hardest part.
And like you said, you liked them, but it wasn't mutual.
That happens to a lot of people.
Then of course it's slim pickens because there are a lot of married people who are off limits.
I have only been married 8 years out of my 71 years. First time when I was 20, and it lasted 4 years and he took off with someone else.
10 years later married again and he wasn't very nice so I ended it. Another 4 years.
So, single from age 34 until age 62 then for 6 years I was totally in love and we were happy 😊 and then he suddenly died.
It just seems like it was never in the cards to have a long lasting relationship. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Most guys know they cannot afford a house, a wife, much less kids in our economy. Plus most women are incredibly entitled to the point where it's almost comical, many have high body counts, hold absurd and toxic opinions (from screen brainrot) and they want the moon. So it's easy to check out and decide that life alone is much more peaceful, even if sex and companionship would be very a nice addition to my lifestyle.

I have spent a lot of time on my career. Though at weekends I every week used to met up with a group of single guys at a popular venue for girls and guys, and then afterwards we went to a night club.

Unfortunately I didn't meet a single lady, and now I just do things I like doing, so if I do meet someone, we'll have similar interests.

I saw on the news today that 63 percent of men under 30 are not married. I think everyone is playing video games and smoking weed.

I never try to find someone, it just happens. If not, oh well.

I let the ladies come to me, if they don't I'm good with that too.

Everything goes around and comes around, but the dry spells do suck. 🤷 Lol
