30F this is happening more and more over the past couple of years. If you want to meet up, why do I have to text you when I’m available? Since you’re initiating, shouldn’t you ask for my number or another platform to communicate on? You don’t even answer my question in the last message, just jump straight to demanding that I text you first. I’m not saying I won’t take initiative in the “dating” game, but why are men expecting me to text them first? Again, when they’re the ones asking to meet up in the first place? This is when I normally stop replying, this didn’t happen as much maybe 3-4 years ago.

That’s roughly how I always do it


Not leaving all the planning to my date because women tend to be bad at planning out dates for some reason


But also not imposing a specific non negotiable date and time and giving her an ultimatum


Two options of availability (i rarely have more anyway)
And then we see if she’s free on one of the two


From there I find us a place that’s not too far for both of us if we happen to be living on the other side of the city


Unless we had talked about meeting up at my place or hers
Which does happen but not that often


And yes many men will wine and complain and say “this is equality” or some bullshit like that


The reality is neither men not women want equality no matter how loud they cry about it so I don’t bother with social rules
I do what seems to be in our mutual self interest and that’s that

Im going to go out on a limb here and say you probably don't get to many dates. Or second dates... he was just saying hey you sound like your busy sometimes let me know when your free. Let's make some plans. I really didn't hear any demanding whatsoever.

HOWEVER guys lately have had to deal with very pushy, impatient sorts of gals who want every second planned and sorted a certain way... and some guys are just used to women approaching them all the time... so they sit back and wait.

I kind of see why you're single. If I understand this correctly this guy already told you he spent his bday q/ his family. You ask a question already answered whil ignoring his, and then he hits you with a clear and firm question. TBH he couldn't hsve played it any better. Honestly this is what a lot of women asked for now they’re getting it. Not shockingly they don’t like it.
