We talked 24/7 for a few months, then we stopped talking... and a year after, I ask him if he likes anyone, and he says he's talking to this new girl and even sent me a picture of her... is he trying to make me jealous or what?

Yes just let go. And except it. .. once you do that it won't be as hard or pain ful. But it will also be easier. For you when the girl finds out who he truly is. Or when he finds out that she doesn't like him the way he likes her. And he tries to come back to you. And to be honest there are things in life that happen to us and with society's rules. We are programmed to feel bad. When we except it we heal faster and God sometime takes away things that are not meant to be but he always replaces things.. if he done so

Remember this it's not that we have fallen its how we get back up is what we are meant to learn. If we don't get back up then we miss. All the things that are plan for us so let it go

It sounds like you two never really established “what” you are. Because of this, he could have a whole different view on what your connection is. You’re asking if he’s trying to make you jealous, what if he sees you as only a friend? Because if you’re simply friends then showing you a picture of her is not malicious.


As for whether or not you should let him go, I don't know what you’d be letting go of if you never established what you were in the first place. A good source of conversation and attention I guess. In any case though, it’s not unusual for a guy to back off from a female friend once he starts dating someone else. Depending on the connection he had with that friend, it’s for the better. Like if you two had a flirty dynamic, history of having tried dating, etc then of it would be a red flag to the new woman in his life and better for him to let you go.
