I’ve known my bf’s friend for almost 3 years, he’s never done this before. And recently while saying bye he kissed me on my cheek suddenly and looked very fondly at me.
Next time he also kissed me on the cheek while saying goodbye at the party and said to me “I like you”, then when my boyfriend turned to us he added “I love you guys”. He never said something like that to me before, but sure he could mean it in a friendly way.
And last time we saw each other he hugged me while greeting then kissed me on the cheek again. I’ve never seen him doing that with other female friends before. But could be of course that it was just friendly affection.
What do you guys think?

To be honest, I’ve had a feeling there is a bit of attraction from his side since I’ve met him but then he got kinda distant so I didn’t give it a second thought. Probably I’m just overthinking. Would like to hear your thoughts!

I kiss my best friend (a girl) on the cheek all the time, if she's dating someone I won't do it, or do it significantly less out of respect. .. if its platonic it should be fine, problem is that based on your account it doesn't seem platonic...
