He's doing it because he's trying to manipulate you. He's trying to control you if I was you, I would just back if he wants to go out with you. Let him earn that

By still being with him and he treats you that way, you're telling him it's okay to do so, but if you just let it all go and make him work for it, make him work for you to prove to you. Who he truly is because he's not doing a good job right now. I mean, because it's b*******, it's manipulation.

Seems to me like the guy is being a dick, sorry for being blunt.

He's doing it in front of you? When you're outside? Or is it like a celebrity on a poster or something?

Either way, if you've told him it makes you feel insecure and he's still doing it then it's either he's pissed about something and he's doing this to be petty or he's just being a crappy boyfriend.

You should ask him why he's doing this and clarify first whether it's because he's mad about something you did. If he is mad about something then you move forward resolving that issue first. If he's just doing it for no reason then you should tell him to stop otherwise you'll leave.
