Let's say you're out on a date with someone and they order a drink, can the drink they choose influence you positively or negatively?

What I mean is are there any drink that you'd associate with a certain type of person and does or can it be a turn off for you especially if say for example you don't like that drink?

There is not a single drink that would affect my judgment of them negatively. Honestly though, I would probably prefer a girl who can let loose a little and be comfortable around me. I like drinking socially (I don't drink often at all... less than once a month currently). So when I go out with her, it would be nice to drink with her.

Not really unless it was something super expensive. But I don't care if they prefer beer, wine, liquor, liqueur or any kind of cocktail. I like wine and certain cocktails, myself. And I don't care about the color of the cocktail or if it comes with an umbrella.

Nope not really. But if they order me a double whiskey and themselves a glass of water I'm going to be suspicious they do not have good intentions (has actually happened to me and I made excuses to go bathroom and high tailed it out of there).

It really has nothing to do with what type of drink it is as much as how many times they ordered it or any alcohol at all. I paid close attention to how much women drink because I have found that more than about two drinks becomes really problematic very fast.
