Only experience can answer that question fully. We could go on and on about right and wrong things to do/say, but that's all been said. Bottom line is that you have to figure out how to communicate your value while at the same time keeping the mojo going. If things turn awkward, you have mere seconds to turn it around. Women are pretty fickle, and many that "date" are just looking for free meals / night out.

My only rule is:

They have to be comfortable and not anxious, not discuss or hint at sex, not cut things short due to scheduling priorities, not answer or text other women on the date, and not be too impersonal so that you learn nothing new about them after the date, as well as not bringing third parties along unless its discussed ahead of time. And we must meet in a place where I can travel home without their help.
