How is she controlling?
It's kinda a small thing, but she didn't like my clothes when we first started dating, so she basically bought me a new wardrobe and gets upset if I don't wear what she got me.
How long have you been dating?
She certainly can have an opinion on how you appear to the outside world and if she bought gifts that’s awesome. However you are still an adult and reasonable for dressing everyday. As long as how you choose to dress isn’t completely embarrassing or demeaning she shouldn’t feel that upset right?
Right.
So then yes. If you choose to wear something that she didn’t buy and that upsets her then it’s weird. You are not her child
