Does Facebook seem to know who you had sex with?

Lately the "People You May Know" has been way to spot on with past flames... To some degree there is no way they could know we hooked up unless Facebook matched us by location on the hook ups. We are mainly talking one night stands.

I have been surprised by who has shown up on this list, people I had sex with years ago that only I would know about (and the guy). Even if I tell my sister, I don't usually say oh I had sex with Tom Miller, unless Tom Miller is someone we both know. But my own boyfriend doesn't show up on the list. Her boyfriend has (on mine) and I only know him from when she has him around the house, I don't know him at all in the outside world.

Related to that point, I wish you could say to your phone, tell me what I said 5 minutes ago because sometimes we'll be talking about something and I'll want to remember something from it. No one in the room remembers but I know the phone heard it and could tell me if it had that function.

But did you actually have their numbers or you guys met first on FB for the hookup?

I think it goes by who's in your contacts but also how much someone is checking your page. I get the same thing. One of my exes is constantly showing up as someone in "People You May Know." My close female friend says she thinks it's because my ex probably keeps looking at my page. Both IG and FB claim that a person showing up to you as a suggestion has nothing to do with them looking at your page but I don't believe that. I will have people I knew ages ago be suggested to me several times, people I no longer speak to or have their number.

If you have their contact number on your phone Facebook connects you as a possible connection.
