So I’ve spoken to a few guys online. They don’t want to date nor meet in public. They are being straightforward and they just wanna hookup with the woman at hers

I mean, if they're being honest by saying that then they're probably not bad people. If they should be ignored depends on if you feel like you're wasting your time talking to them. The people who should be avoided are the ones who tell you what they think you want to hear in order to hookup.

The men who say that they just want to hookup aren't really buying any favors by saying that. Just take their word for it, hookup if you want, and move on. Stay on your toes when someone actually says they want to date.

As for meeting up to see if someone's real, there have been several occasions where I or my friend have gone to meet someone. Only for it to turn out that it was some dude pullibg our leg who was no doubt snickering around the corner. Meeting in a café or something is not insurance against a guy being fake.

Yet again, you can either appreciate their honesty. Choose to shoot the shit or ignore them, it's all up to you.

In my opinion, hookups/casual sex is unacceptable regardless.

A good first meet up would be at an arcade so both people can get to know each other and have a low pressure activity to enjoy too. It also would show how they respond to both winning and losing.

I have never had the need for online dating (at least not yet) but I think meeting up in a public place is best for both involved. Especially for a girls safety. There are too many creeps out there. If both of you want sex and just a hookup that is one thing. But I'd do it at the guys place (don't forget condoms) that way he will not know where you live.

Yes you should avoid them. Always meet the suspect in a public place, tell a friend or family member where you are going, and what time you expect to return.
