What makes a man emotionally attractive to you over time?

Initial attraction can come from looks or confidence, but emotional attraction seems to build more slowly. Things like communication, consistency, and how someone treats others often matter more over time. From your experience, what traits or behaviors actually make a man emotionally attractive to you in the long run?

That is true initial attraction is only the start many people get so carried away before they really know someone super well, just to be let down in the end. Especially if it’s a dark personality masking.

It takes time getting to know someone’s personality. Maybe you meet the real them and you loose attraction. Is he a bad man? No. But maybe not the right person for you. Maybe you go on some dates and you both have different things you’re seeking in a relationship therefore you’re not compatible. Different standards, boundaries, goals, and roles for a relationship. Not bad. Just not meant to be.

Other times you can fall deeply for someone you weren’t even initially attracted to. So it all depends.

For myself, Iv had some hard times, and got hurt a lot, so id want someone healing, patient and really wanted to be with me. Ill sense it. And that would make any woman 10x more attractive to me, but maybe thats just some kind of emotional desperation I don't know

For me, that is a difficult question to answer because, since I am not dating or interested in dating, I don't really pay attention to the expression of a person, the hidden messages they send across or subtle movements that would indicate that I should be aware of.

I am aware that people tend not to be themselves initially because they want to appear in the best light possible to the others. Only time would reveal whether this person is serious or not about you.

To be emotionally attractive, that person would have to show feelings and be just as empathetic as most women are. That would probably be the first step.

It definitely takes time to build those things in a relationship. I think a Man starts developing emotional attraction when you make him feel important and safe instead of making the relationship all about you. Your Partner is as important as you in a relationship.

I do not know but in general terms I have gotten used to that people like me more the more time that pass but I always thought it was becsuse of them, their ability to love, than about me. I think that is why too some find me layed back as I am aware things take time but you should always say your intention and be truthful about it. I have tried the thing where you pretend to be someone you are not and when I went what the heck Im just going to be me, you win some, you loose some, I found myself more at peace. I have always except one time had it difficult to get out of a relationship as the guys don't want to let go but then again the few guys I got so serious with ended up getting mental problems along the way and fought the hardest to let go, so what do I know, typical. One area in my life that just ends up in a failure, but at least other parts of my life don't and I appreciate that. To my defense I've heard what some people think what I should work on, what's wrong with me, but somehow they can say too that they don't know if they want me to change that about myself. Confusing, lol. I do not believe people can get perfect in one lifetime, we are all too stupid for that, lol, I don't care how many therapy lessons it takes we're not going to get there, but we have to have some Keys, foundation, and if we have that, act accordingly we built a bridge strong to have healthy loving relationships, but it takes two to built that bridge.
